Teague Named Athlete Of The Week

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South has announced their Athletes of the Week.  The conference gives an award for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for each sport active during that week. 

Erik Teague has been selected as the USA South Offensive Player of the Week. The junior quarterback from Reidsville, North Carolina accounted for 267 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in a 34-33 loss to Guilford. Teague was 18-of-29 for 169 yards passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Teague also carried the ball 16 times for a total of 98 yards which included a touchdown. Down by 14 points with 10:21 remaining, Teague led the Methodist offense to consecutive scoring drives.
