The Reidsville Review

With 10:45 left in the half, Butchee connected with Doe for six yards, but the conversion attempt failed. With 1:09 left in the first half, the two hooked up again – this time for 16 yards. Butchee ran in the conversion run.
Reidsville, which rushed 34 times for 136 yards, had the lone touchdown in the third quarter. Stephen Williams’ one-yard touchdown plunge gave the Baby Rams a 20-0 lead.
Josh Harden led Reidsville with 55 yards rushing and Butchee added 54 yards rushing and Williams chipped in with 53.
Through the air, Reidsville was 9 for 19 passing for 103 yards and one interception. Butchee was 9 for 16 for 103 yards.
Eight of those completions went to Doe, who caught eight passes for 78 yards. Travis McLean had the other reception for 25 yards.
Butchee to Doe worked one last time in the fourth quarter. The duo connected on a 12-yard TD pass with 8:33 left in the game. The score came just three minutes after Southern Guilford got on the scoreboard – cutting the RHS deficit to 20-6.
Defensively, Sergio Harrison and Harden led the Baby Rams with six tackles each. Gabriel Hildebrand added four tackles and Doe and Damien Cooper each had one interception.
Thursday’s game with the Baby Phoenix kicks off at 7 p.m. from Community Stadium.
