Bears, Jets Record Shutout Wins

The Bears and Jets picked up wins in the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department's 7-9 football league Wednesday at Jaycee Park.

The Bears blanked the Broncos 13-0 while the Jets duplicated that score in a win over the Giants.

After a scoreless first half, the Bears scored twice in the second half to get the win.

Justin Totten scored on a five-yard run and then caught a 10-yard TD pass from Dominique Watkins. Cameron Hairston had one extra point.

Hairston and Justin Bolden recovered fumbles.

In First Quarter action, Bolden scored on a 60-yard run and Hairston caught a TD pass from Watkins.

Camron McGhee scored on a 60-yard run for the Broncos.

Jets 13

Giants 0

Xavier Taylor had a pair of touchdown runs to lift the undefeated Jets.

Jalen Foster had an extra point.

Foster, Jordan Lipscomb, Shaundrell Richardson, and Crydon Crump recovered fumbles for the Jets.

Gregrey Evans had a pass interception and Noel Cook and Quiron Johnson recovered fumbles for the Giants.

In First Quarter play, Cameron Galloway scored for the Jets. For the Giants, Joshua Wyantt scored a touchdown and Cody Ratliff had a pass interception.
