Steelers, Redskins Advance

The Steelers and Redskins advanced to the championship game of the Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department 10-12 football playoffs Tuesday night with wins at Community Stadium.
The Steelers knocked off the Vikings 21-2 and the Redskins outlasted the Cowboys 27-14.
The championship game is slated for 11 a.m. Nov. 3 in Community Stadium.

The Steelers jumped out to a 21-0 lead and held on.
Dominique Evans rand in a TD from four yards and out then threw a four-yard scoring pass to Mekail Winchester. Josh Mitchell returned an interception 25 yards for another score. Quentin Anglero ran in all three conversions.
The Vikings recorded a safety in the fourth quarter.
Delante Enoch, Mitchell, and Evans had interceptions for the Steelers and Mike Millner had a fumble recovery and an interception for the Vikings.

Redskins 27
Cowboys 14

Rhamel Irving had scoring runs of 55, 40, and 56 yards in the first quarter for the Redskins. Corey Totten scored on a 40-yard run.
Justin Smith had two PAT runs and P.J. Barham had one. Denzel Myers had 14 tackles for the Redskins.
Tyree Wilson had a 50-yard run for the Cowboys and Kevin Coleman had a seven-yard run. Colemand and Jarron Cobb had conversions. Gerell Burch recovered a fumble for the Redskins and Keon Coleman and Chris Register had recoveries for the Cowboys, who also had a big game defensively from Tyler Lovelace.
