Rec Draft Dates Rescheduled

The Reidsville Parks & Recreation Department has set dates for its youth football drafts.
The 7-9 contact league draft for all new players will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5 at the Recreation Department gym. The draft was originally scheduled for Sept. 4 but has been rescheduled due to the Reidsville Ram football game with Burlington Cummings Thursday night. The Rams and Cavaliers moved their game from Sept. 5 to Sept. 4 ahead of the approaching remants from Hurricane Hanna.
The draft for the 10-12 contact league for all players new to the league will be held Monday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 at Jaycee Park.
Players already on teams are asked not to attend the draft. Players on teams from 2007 will remain on their teams this year as no player will be allowed to re-enter the draft.
